Amrutha Hakkare Arunachala is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to solve problems. Amrutha's past experience also includes working as a Research Student at EcoPRT, where she was part of a team developing a self-driving vehicle for the NCSU campus. In this role, she worked on the computer vision modules of the vehicle, implementing ground plane segmentation using Lidar and Camera point clouds. She fused the outputs of both sensors to segment out obstacles in the point cloud using RANSAC. Amrutha holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
